In Honor On Valentines Day, I Made These Elena Of Avalor Valentines!

When do you think Carla's birthday is? I headcannon that her birthday is on February 11

Nice headcanon! I guess I've always thought it would be somewhere between October 1st and before March 1st (Which is a time your headcanon would fall into). Although there's nothing in the show to indicate exactly when it could be.

Side note, I've always found it a bit peculiar that the EverRealm uses the Gregorian calendar to divide it's years. I can accept that they have the same kind of moon and the same type of sun as Earth while being in a completely different solar system. And it seems like Earth has influenced the EverRealm seeing that they do have models of Earth, and there are just so many things in EverRealm culture that seem like they would have had to have come from Earth. But the fact that they would decide to split up the year in the exact same way...I don't know, it just seems noticeably weird to me for some reason (Even if their years are still 365 days long).

❤️= Favorite ships? ⚔️ = Unpopular opinion? I'm going to answer both at once, because why not. 

One of the things that really sold me on the show in the first place was the fact that it didn't have any of the main characters constantly pining, like most other shows in it’s genre do. Don't get me wrong, I still love those other shows, but I feel like most of the romantic subplots with the main characters were the weakest parts of them. Only occasionally does Elena of Avalor have episodes on romance as the focus and that was always with grown ups and/or side characters. I feel like shows should do that more often.

That being said as far as ships go, well… I like all the cannon married & dating couples, I don't have any problems with any of them. But as far as most fan-made ships go, I'm pretty neutral about most of them (or I am a big multishipper with them). I see a nice piece of art/fic for them and I'm like “Oh that's a nice piece of art/fic” but I wouldn't live or die for that ship. 

But I have to admit I do absolutely love Rafictor, it's definitely a favourite, but I like some other ships that have either of them in them as well. Ixlan/Antonia is another favourite, (although I guess the show was the one that suggested that ship in the first place). And I really like any of the possible combinations of the four Amigos with each other, I'm just very glad that the show didn't explicitly say that any of them are cannon, because that makes them all equally valid. (Although I guess I'm biased towards a certain one of them if you look at a couple of certain posts of mine).

On the planet Ahch-To, Jedi Master Mateo travels to find the first Jedi temple. He takes his Padawan, Olivia with him. On the way she gets to meet some of the planet's native wildlife.

I've seen fan designs of malvago!Mateo before which are all very fun and very dark, so I wanted to share my vision of him (and Olivia) as well!

All malvagos in the show seemed to have some kind of animal motif and when I was thinking about what animal he would have I headcanoned that maybe a malvagos’ motif is determined by what animal their chanul is. Then I thought about Mateo with big sleeve claws and decided that was perfect. (Sloths are normally solitary and nocturnal, which fits Mateo as well). 

Those fake claws used to be made out of metal but with his clumsiness he realized it was too dangerous for himself and changed them to silver coloured cloth. 

Olivia has an axolotl motif because I think that axolotls are cool. I'm sure it would factor into her magic somehow as well, like if she was in a fight and got hurt she would be able to quickly heal and regenerate stamina.

This was originally meant to be a 100% goofy funny comic, but somehow it turned into angst halfway through. I still think it's funny that Minimus canonically learns the truth before Amber and James though.

Minimus and I already knew, and I think he has told every horse in the kingdom by now. Roland: That's not… how did you…? Amber: Daddy… does that mean I could have killed Sofia when I turned her into a cat? Would she be dead because of me? Roland: No Amber. That wouldn't have happened. Don't worry, no one got hurt. Amber: But Sofia almost was! Roland: But she wasn't. She's alright. All of you are. I'm sorry I only told you now. but please remember we both love you all very much. And we'll all get through this together.
