INTRODUCING….The OCCULT ONLY sims 4 challenge absolutely nobody asked for! Inspired by the @lilsimsie Not So Berry challenge, The Sims 4 “Not So Scary” challenge takes a variety of features from the different spooky packs to guide your sims legacy in a new and spooky direction! This challenge is designed with creative freedom in mind, meaning there are limited trait and aspiration restrictions. Take the story in whatever direction you want to! Each generation also includes a related build (bc idk about y’all but I need to work on my build/buy too) My hope is that this challenge opens up a door for simmers to play with the weird and rejected sims, and experience a new style of gameplay!

Gen 1: 👻 Spooky love story 👻

All your life you’ve felt connected to the “other side” It seemed only fitting to become a paranormal investigator to use your special talent to help others, but maybe there’s more than just career success to be found in those haunted mansions….

✧ become licensed paranormal investigator ✧ master the medium and writing skill ✧ purchase the “brave” reward trait ✧ must fall in love and marry a ghost ✧ live in a haunted house after marriage ✧ have one child who will become the next heir ✧ complete the bestselling author aspiration

BUILD: create a ghost hunters tiny home!

Gen 2: 🧛🏻I’m in love…with a vampire?! 🧛🏻‍♂️

Your dads a ghost, your moms a “kook”, and your maid is a skeleton?! All you’ve ever wanted was a normal family, and to stop being the ~weird kid~ Your parents are always busy with work leaving you with only your art supplies and plopsy shop. That is until the new kid at school shows interest in you…could this be your chance for a normal life?!?

✧ must have loner and creative trait ✧ have no friends your age until s/o is met in teen years ✧ s/o must be a vampire ✧ can never be drank from/see ur s/o in vampire form until dating (bonus if ur married) ✧ master knitting and 1 other creative skill! ✧ complete good vampire aspiration! ✧ have twins (or triplets for added challenge)

Gen 3: 🕸Twitches get stitches 🕸

The family name is known in the world of the paranormal and unusual, but magical creatures and sorcerers are on the rise. Raised in a household of powerful vampires and motivated to bring fame to your family name, you begin your study of spell craft and train for your fight to become the family heir.

✧ have a sibling rivalry with all of your siblings ✧ each child must master a different area of spell craft (max three) ✧ heir is not chosen until a winner is crowned at a duel that takes place during adult years (option to kill the losing sibling[s] after duel) ✧ heir must achieve lvl 3 fame or above ✧ be the leader of a cult (club) of magical sims only ✧ have at least one child

BUILD: create the perfect magical gathering location for your club of spooky sims

Gen 4: 👑 Who runs the world? 👑

Your family has dominated the supernatural world in every aspect, now it’s time to rule the sim world as the queen/king you are, with a trophy s/o by your side and piles of green to prove it.

✧ achieve negative reputation ✧ live on largest lot in the world u choose ✧ have snob trait ✧ reach lvl 10 in politician or villain career path ✧ marry a GREEN sim (alien or plant sim) ✧ complete fabulously wealthy aspiration

BUILD: create a community lot that honors your family legacy! (a park with your family name, a magical store, a fancy art gallery, the possibilities are endless!)

this is your gentle reminder to stop fighting against your adhd and instead structure your life around it

buy a pack of chapsticks and put one in the pocket of all of your coats and jackets because you always forget to bring one and chapped lips is sensory hell

leave important things where you can see them. if they go in a box or a drawer you will forget they exist

put any appointments or deadlines in your phone calendar As Soon As you get them. set a reminder for a week before, a day before, an hour before, as many as you need as often as you need them.

when that little voice in your head says "i dont need to write that down, ill remember it" that is the devil talking!!! write it down anyway!!

plan for down time. have a few hours at the end of every day to just do fun stuff like engage in your hyperfixations. even if you didnt get all of your work done that day, have the rest anyway. you probably spent the whole day beating yourself up for not doing what you Should be doing, so you still need the break.

if you never eat vegetables because its too much effort to chop and cook them, get the frozen or canned shit. it doesnt go off for ages and you just have to microwave it. theres no point buying fresh vegetables if they just keep going off and being left to rot in the bottom of your fridge

if you struggle to decide what to have for dinner every day, take the decision out of it. choose a set of meals and eat those on rotation until you get sick of them, then choose some new ones and do it again.

its not stupid if it works! our brains literally have a chemical deficiency. you are allowed to accommodate yourself. go forth and stop making your life more difficult than it has to be because "this shouldn't be this hard". it is hard, so make it easier.
