Hello everypony this is your captain speaking

My name is Ben or Harvey (he/him) and I'm the man behind the blog. I'm 19 and been dreaming of having a tumblr since I was a wee lass and shipped real life British people together. I'm a mess

Most of my current art will be reposts from my art insta though they still ring true to my current interests. Some current media I enjoy (ordered by interest) are: Total Drama Reboot, Buzzfeed Unsolved, Mickey 17, Madoka Magica, TENET, Heathers. I also got this whole fanon homebrew thing for Damien total drama under #Damien Carter if ya interested. Or you could message me.

I'm totally open for DMs! I don't take commissions or requests (unless otherwise in a recent post). Aside from that I just wanna nerd out and be that one friend who's too woke but knows how to have fun and also the one friend who GETS HIS HOMEWORK DONE ON TIME so I'm gonna go do that rn

Hey so am I picking bad times to post or is there a werewolf eating people on tumblr? There's like a drop in traction and idk how much of it is my doing or if the algorithm is just weird here

I know “Homura is Catholic” is only vaguely implied (in canon, all she says is that she went to a Christian missionary school, and in Japan those are overwhelmingly run by the Catholic Church) and we meme about it, but like. As someone who was raised Catholic, I have never seen a more Catholic character than Homura Akemi.

The religious-level obsession she has with Madoka. Her all-consuming guilt and self-doubt. Viewing suffering for Madoka’s sake as something beautiful and aspirational. Viewing herself as the literal devil for having selfish desires that aren’t even that bad.

Anyway who do you think her confirmation Saint would be

this excludes WIPs and writing! I can write and WIP whenever I so please. I think what I’m referring to is actual full fledged drawings… which is nice but also means I gotta have at least one full drawing every week? Or do sketches count? Won’t I just sketch and doodle and post those anyway? How many pieces go into a weeks post?

oh yeahhh btw, since most of the posts will be more-than-likely hq reposts (still with a slight grain) from my art insta, I’ll be writing down the “og” date that I drew said piece. Speaking of which, new post tomorrow!! I’m making it a habit of 1-2 posts every week. Wednesdays and Saturdays. Not always the case w/ text posts since they’re almost always done in real-time. Real yapper I am.

I'm not gonna tag his "canon" tags here bc honestly this is a really off kilter characterization of this funny little man. and tbh I really need to refresh my memory on some of these medias, which I WILL do eventually. woo hoo.

There was a cool patterned shirt I saw @ a thrift store window that reminded me a lot of Damien's palette, so I decided to draw him in a summery fit just in time for... summer! The weather's been pretty great lately, but man it is running late on its spring schedule.
