“War’s over..”

inspired by one of the fic that I love First Sight from @glimmerglanger, thank you so much for writing this 🥺

Cody and Obi-Wan got caught in the rain while walking back from some undoubtedly boring diplomatic engagement.

This takes place in the Reconstruction Corps AU, some time after That’s not how it happened. This is how it happened, but before Orbital Decay. Ugh, they’re so in love, I hate them. :)

It did not come out quite as soft as I’d planned, but I’m sure Cody only nags because he cares. :)

I used to get irritated and be completely baffled by why Rex always gets to go on the cool missions with Obi-Wan Anakin and Ahsoka when Cody doesn’t but then I realized

Cody is the marshal commander and is busy running half the damn army he doesn’t have time to go on random ass side quests someone has to be the adult and stay home

a moment I wish we could’ve gotten….

EDIT 2/21/19:

Heeeeeey…..so. This suddenly got a lot of notes all of a sudden. A very kind person (I shan’t name so they don’t get Tumblr alerted like mad) was smart enough to tell me to credit the PDF with my info.

Also I kind of went back in and cleaned it up a little. So. IF YA WANT. It’s a little nicer in the beginning for everyone.

And uuuhm, so. I also tried to fix the GAR? Because I am that type of crazy.

Alright, so I might have been slightly obsessed with Cody since he went from stoic professional to spin-kicking a droid within the first 5 minutes of the pilot movie.
