Sherlock Edit

This is exactly how I feel, I haven't consumed that many yet but I love the ones I have for different reasons.

I can see and understand the criticism towards the BBC Sherlock but I think it does what it does well (apart from some bits of the fourth season) but out of the two Sherlock & Co is definitely the better modern adaptation, but I still love BBC Sherlock especially since it's the one started with.

I currently watching Granada Holmes and I absolutely love it, I also need to finish the Soviet adaptation which is quite similar to Granada but they both have their charms, I'm neglecting the Soviet one since Granada is easier to watch since it's in english 😭

Ending point, let people love things even if they might be shitty or different, sometimes that's WHY we like them.

what if I love them all? what if I am hugging the best and the worst sherlock holmes adaptations close to my chest simultaneously?? what if I'm kissing Jeremy Brett on the forehead and holding hands with Sir Ian McKellen behind his back?! what then? Can you blame me for loving them all? What if I'm so in love with the overall concept of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson that I do not care whether they're Arthur C. Doyle's versions straight from the books or some new iterations in a true crime podcast!

I'm collecting them. Rows upon rows of adaptations in the shelves of my mind. They're all here.

Something I will never understand is why the Doctor and Martha found is funny when they found out Jack was the Face of Boe.

Sure, it's kinda funny for the hot immortal man to become a giant head, but this is after they saw the Face of Boe die.

We get no indication that he came back after that, as far as I know we're lead to believe that he died, meaning they now know how Jack dies, and they're laughing? I don't get it.

If I'm not wrong and please correct me if I am, but I pretty sure it's said or implied they stood there for a long time with him and he was still dead.

If anyone as insight that makes this make a least a little more sense, I would genuinely like to hear it, just be respectful ❤️

But it still kinda peeves me that they would laugh instead of being in awe/disbelief.
